The Art of Weathered Models

The final Turner classic is one of our Norfolk & Western C2-3 cabooses. The C2-3 was identical to the C2-2 except for the color of the roof which on the dash 3 was silver in color. The intent of the silver painted roof was to dissipate heat during the hot summer months of operation. The lighter color roof also provides for some interesting weathering possibilities, although you really can't seem them from this angle. I hope to add additional photos that will highlight some of the great weathering detail that is difficult to appreciate from this overall perspective.
