The R-70-2 PFE reefer has several interesting design characteristics which is what originally drew our attention to this particular variation: 52’6” length, Fish-Belly under-frame, Dreadnaught ends, tongue & groove wood side sheeting, a ‘Murphy Solid Steel Roof and it was the last car to utilize the enameled herald.
